Promote the effectiveness and professionalism of the computer programming industry by reducing client expenses, wasted time and project defects related to inexperienced programmers while providing experienced programmers with the opportunity to demonstrate their superior skills.

Why IPES Was Created

IdopI founder David B. Goodrich is a software developer and has acted as an I.T. hiring manager. As a hiring manager David was always perplexed by the number of individuals who applied for positions for which they were unqualified. Current software developer assessment tools were ineffective since they were generic and were based on multiple-choice questions that tested knowledge but not the ability to apply that knowledge. As a solution, David created a standard authentic test, geared to the language and technology used by his employer, that required a candidate to prove he or she could actually write a working program.

Recognizing that many corporations face the difficulty of assessing software developers adequately David created IdopI Programmer Evaluation Services to meet this need.
