What is your refund policy?

Answer:

Refunds are available for any purchased, unallocated evaluations.

  • Evaluations purchased under bulk rate pricing will be subject to an adjusted rate if the number of evaluations not refunded does not meet the threshold level of the discount rate.
  • For evaluations purchased under contract rates, the refund policy of the contract takes precedence over this refund policy.

What is IPES?

Answer:

IdopI Programmer Evaluations Services or IPES is a software developer evaluation service offered by IdopI Technologies, Inc.

IPES evaluations are unique among software developer evaluations in that they require the taker to complete an actual programming assignment and then defend his or her solution via short answer and essay questions.

How does IPES compare to other evaluation services designed to test programmers?

Answer:

IPES Evaluations:

  • are actual programming assignments
  • require an evaluee to demonstrate why he or she chose a specific solution
  • are specific to a technology area and programming language.

Competitor's Evaluations:

  • ask an evaluee to choose answers to multiple-choice questions that are general in nature
  • rely on minutia
  • do not require the evaluee be able to demonstrate an ability to apply knowledge.

When will my report be ready?

Answer:

Our goal is to have the report compiled and certified within twenty-four hours of the time the evaluee checks in his or her solution.

How will I know my report is ready?

Answer:

Once your report has been compiled and certified you will be notified via an email titled "IdopI Programmer Evaluation Services Evaluation Report" followed by you're the identifier you entered for the evaluee.

How do I retrieve my report?

Answer:

You can retrieve your report using a link provided in your report notification email. Follow the link and click on "download report". A PDF version of the report, which you can save, will open.

Question:

What does my report contain?

Answer:

The report consists of several sections that provide different views of the evaluee's performance.

The "Evaluation Score" and "Time Component" sections provide a summary of the evaluee's score and are particularly useful for HR / hiring managers.

The "Questions", "Score Items" and "Evaluator Comments" sections provide a detailed, technical look at the elements that lead to the evaluee's score and so provide I.T. managers with a deeper view into the evaluee's programming capabilities.

Answer:

No. Evaluators work on a first come first serve basis.

Question:

How Do I Know Evaluators are Qualified?

Answer:

First, the each Evaluator is a senior software developer meaning that he or she has a minimum of seven years programming experience, is fluent in at least two programming languages and has worked in at least two industries.

Secondly to qualify to evaluate an evaluation language in a given technology and programming, an evaluator must first certify in that technology and language. To certify, the evaluator must complete a comprehensive evaluation in the target technology.

Lastly when you receive your report each evaluator comment is accompanied with an evaluator Id number. You can use this number to look up and view an Evaluator's background and qualification list.
